Friends of Career Services

This program provides opportunities for employers to establish, maintain, or enhance involvement within the Career Services Department and among UConn students. Opportunities exist for employers to partner either financially or through in kind donations which are recognized throughout the UConn community. In turn, these employers gain enhanced visibility within the department, on the Career Services website, and among University students, faculty, staff, and administration.

Examples of levels of recognition are as follows:

• Tier I Recognition: Financial donations of $5000.00 or greater
• Tier II Recognition: Financial donations of $1000.00 - $4,999.00 or major event/program in kind sponsorship
• Tier III Recognition: Financial donations of $999.00 or less or in kind donations

Monetary or in kind donations can support different programming areas of the department such as:

On Line Software Programs (HuskyCareerLink, CareerSearch.net, Survey Monkey or Vault), Technology (Career topic DVDs or on line career assessment licensing fees), Events (Career Fairs and workshops), Senior Year Experience Programming, Explore Program Partnership (Support specific programming and events for Explore), Career Resource Library (subscriptions and books) and Guidebooks (Covering various career development topics).
